Los Angeles is the largest manufacturing region in the United States, employing more manufacturing workers than the entire state of Michigan. We have more top-tier engineering graduate students than either the San Francisco Bay area or the Boston area. With almost 200 college and university campuses in Los Angeles County alone, including the California Institute of Technology, Art Center, the Claremont Colleges, Otis Institute, UCLA and USC, Los Angeles is a strong center of managerial talent and innovative drive.

 

The region also has a strong and growing workforce and network of state unversities and community colleges dedicated to working with cleantech companies to train the next generation of technology workers.
